Loenne and I have been counting down to this special day since she was born! Well, for a week or two at least, as she only started working a little while ago. She went out and got a job just so she could wear a gown today. Actually, due to these dark economic times she has not one, but three jobs! She is such a hard worker, I think she takes after her Daddy. I was lucky enough to be able to follow her around today and snap a few photos of her at work in her gown. She is all enthusiasm, this one. When she heard about Wear a Gown To Work Day, she was like, “HOLLA!! Sign me up!”
In the mornings she works as the design assistant for the fashion label Butikofer. When asked about her experience there so far she said “Adrienne Butikofer is a super cool boss. She’s really fun, and I feel well taken care of. Sometimes she seems more like a Mom than a boss!! The scissors are a little big though . . .”

Loenne is also the award winning chef at “Chez Spina”. She describes her cooking style as “Homey Prairie Canadiana with an Italian twist.” Favorite ingredient? “Dill infused cheese.”

Lastly, I followed Loenne to her third job as a Russian Tour Guide. When asked about this career choice, her only comment was “You know what they say about the Russians.” So true!

While moonlighting as the papparazzi today, I managed to capture this tender moment between Loenne and her boyfriend George who came to visit during one of her 15 minute breaks. TMZ has already bought it, and it will probably be in InTouch next week. They’re so in love.
